SOUVENIR FROM THE EARTH TV

If you're a filmmaker, you can post your own video in SOUVENIR FROM THE EARTH TV
It's just awesome! I've spent a little time to see some videos, but really worth it!

Here you can see just a small appetizer:
  • Glibberings - Lloyd Fachman (Green Hands Girls)
  • Houston - Clement Young (Locked in a Bathroom)

  • Fluffy Minimalism - Sabina Maria Van der Linden
I've simply loved the graffiti of this studio where she made the video!

A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE

After see A Streetcar Named Desire we understand why Cate Blanchett decided to play this awesome character: Blanche Dubois
She is a well-dressed woman always concerned about her appearance!
In the play, her upper-class mentality is the main issue for this social drama. Her sister Stella has married someone of lower status, Stanley Kowalski - brutish but still handsome.

Even if the end is predictable, it was this story which gave to Tennessee Williams notoriety when he won his first Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1947.

VALENTINO

After weeks and weeks completly busy, finally I could watch Valentino - The Last Emperor.

Valentino's life style is sumptuous! It's amazing to see how they work in the backstages. Pristine hand-made dresses are simply masterpieces.

He goes from Rome to Paris to Venice with his partner Giancarlo Giacometti and 5 spoiled pets!
It seems they were trained to performing poses for nice shots at any time!

If you love fashion, you have to put in your list MUST TO SEE movie!

HALLOWEEN...REWIND....

Don't you know what to do in October 31st?

POPCORN SESSION

If you don't have a Halloween party to go, I'd reccomend watching classical horror movies:

  • DRACULA - Bela Lugosi turns in a landmark horror performance in this 1931 adaptation of Bram Stoker's classic vampire novel. Revisit Transylvania for the eerie mood created by spectacular cinematography and Lugosi's oft-copied take on the infamous Dracula. Dwight Frye as Renfield also helps define the grotesque and sniveling sidekick role.

  • NOSFERATU - 1921. Many horror freaks call F.W. Murnau's silent German classic the scariest Dracula adaptation ever. The bone-chilling tale kicks off when a sailor on a ghost ship opens a coffin, thereby releasing a vampire named Count Orlok who sets off on a rampage of terror aimed at a real estate agent and his comely wife. The creepy caped one is played by Max Schreck, sporting grotesque makeup that transforms him into a symbol of pestilence and decay.

I found this old post I did in 2007, about Face Hunter's pictures to inspire people to get their costum!

The nice thing is this kind of information is ALWAYS usefull ;D

...In addition I also found this pic from last year when we were in London! Click here for more!
